Workshop objectives

The workshop's overall goal is to review and analyze past efforts to promote peace and justice in northern Uganda, and map out new directions.

Objectives include:

To provide a forum for discussion, debate and networking amongst actors; To provide information to the Canadian public on Canada's role in promoting peace and justice in the region; To create a publication that documents the advocacy efforts of key actors, their strategic campaigns, results and lessons learned. The publication will be of use to other advocates seeking to make an impact in the region and elsewhere; To map out next steps.
